Chickadee Childbirth Services is based in Ottawa, Ontario, and offers birth and postpartum doula services to women and their families.

A doula's number one priority is the emotional and physical health of the pre and postnatal woman. We are present to provide both Mom and partner with support, before, during and after labour and birth. We believe in the normal process of birth and a woman’s innate ability to bring her child into the world. A positive birth experience can provide a woman with a sense of power and satisfaction, and we are there to help guide this experience. We work in partnership with the partner/Dad, and will never replace their role if they are hoping to take an active part in the birth.
